I’ve finally replaced my 3rd Verizon Chocolate now with a new Samsung Alias and so far I’m thrilled with it. I’m a little apprehensive about the flip hinge, but according to reviews on the net it’s been really reliable.

Plus, no touch sensitive screens or buttons to go haywire like the crappy chocolate. wish me luck

I agree entirely… I can’t believe a gadget of this size can cause so many problems. What a mistake it was to ever be suckered into “the latest and greatest” thing at the time. This is aleady my second chocolate phone because my first one went haywire. My second one froze about 6 times in the past 2 days and today it finally turned off for good. I am going to have to try getting out of this contract or phone because I feel like the insurance policy I was also suckered into is holding me a prisoner to a crappy chocolate phone for good.

Hi Sara, I know it’s frustrating..obviously going down that road now myself. Have you tried the method I mentioned above, to get it replaced for free?

amen to this,

i have the chocolate as well,

ive gone through 7 of these phones,
paying enough money to verizon and the insurance company to buy a brand new phone for full price,
and once again my seventh phone is having problems.
im so sick of this.
