Ok, they didn't, but they should. Depending on which part of the world you live in, Blu-Ray may have been the ruling force in HD media, especially Australia. However, in the latest turn of events, HD-DVD is back on the scene bringing new players and a cheaper price. But why? Porn, that's why, at least according to the reporting at the Herald Sun.
Although the porn industry has had an impact on the success of the HD wars, can we really thank the XXX industry for going cheap? The common clown puncher can't tell the difference between the quality of a Blu-Ray or an HD-DVD, so of course price will be the winner. It's odd thought that, in other parts of the world, the HD-DVD player has been leading the sales of HD media at almost 4-1.
